Images of the next generation BlackBerry smartphone has been leaked, The Verge has shared an image of a dummy model of the BlackBerry London. It will also be running the new operating system – BlackBerrys new QNX based BBX operating system, which will be the first smartphone to run this operating system outside the tablet models.

The image shows a non functioning dummy of the new BlackBerry London device, from the details of the leak it appears that the Research in Motion is looking to compete against Android and iOS smartphone devices.
Features of the new BlackBerry London will include
- 1.5GHz Dual Core TI OMAP processor
- 16GB Internal Memory
- 8 megapixel camera
- 2 megapixel front facing camera for video chat
- 1GB of RAM
Sources to The Verge also suggests that BlackBerry London will be thinner than the iPhone 4 and nearly as thin as the Galaxy S II, though their source did not say which Galaxy S II model. However, from the looks of the model it doesn’t appear to have a QWERTY keyboard. Don’t expect the device to be released anytime soon as BGR reports from its trusted source that it will be released Q3 2012.
